Wow, so that twist came out of NOWHERE. It’s created the most unpredictable round yet. I felt pretty confident that I wouldn’t be nominated, if I even got any points. The only downside I initially saw was that if people saw that I got zero points (if I did), that it would create a target for me.
The nominations ended up pretty horrible from my standpoint though. Clearly members of the brolliance were giving each other points. I would bet Jason gave to Drew and/or James, not sure where who else. I was really surprised Dani wasn’t up. It would have been a great week to get rid of her since I have no idea where she stands. I should have given 2 to her, instead of Keesha. Oh well, Keesha going is alright with me, and if all goes according to plan, that’s what will happen this week.
Right now Jason is the swing vote giving me/dom/joe the majority to vote Keesha out. Last night (Thursday) he told me that he’s down to vote Keesha, as long as she stays on the block. Then today he’s waffling back and forth between Drew/Keesha. He started talking about how Keesha annoys him though, so I played that up. Then he brought up how Keesha/Rachel are tight, so I was like “yah and Rachel already nominated you”…which seemed to convince him. Along with the fact that I assured him Drew wouldn’t nominate him because he’s 100% brolliance. So that FINALLY makes him say he’s on board. But then he starts talking about how he’s gonna get Chima on board because “clean votes are better”. This, along with his general wishy-washyness (Kara v Chima week 1), makes me really nervous that he’s gonna vote Drew at the last minute. I have no idea if Chima is in fact going to vote Drew over Keesha, but I’d bet on it.
Because of all that I started tossing around a 3-2-2 vote backup plan. The plans got a lot of cons though. It’s overly complicated. Doesn’t work out if Jason/Chima do end up chatting, which I’m thinking is kind of unlikely though, since they’re both hardly on AIM. Also it really puts me much more at the center of game. The gist of the plan would be convincing Chima that we need to get James out and could do it with mine, her, and Rachel’s votes. I’d tell her that Joe/Dom are voting Keesha (truth) and Dani/Jason are def voting Drew (unknown). If she was on board, it would essentially take all power away from Jason, since I’d really vote Keesha. This way the vote turns out 3-2-2 (Keesha-James-Drew) at worst, 4-2-1 (Keesha-James-Drew) at best.
Whether I decide to do this plan or not, I need to do two things before voting:
1) Talk to Chima and figure out where her head’s at.
2) Touch base with Jason again and make sure he’s 1000000% voting Keesha. Because if both
Him and Chima are voting Drew, then I’m not gonna be left in the minority and blow up my alliance with Rachel for no reason.
