Hello friends! I went into this round assuming it would be a boring, uneventful one, but it did end up having some interesting points.
THANK GOD I didn’t win the HOH, but I still managed to outlast more than half the house, so I don’t look weak or like I obviously threw it (*coughJASONcough*). Rachel wasn’t my first choice to win, but I was down. Especially when she told me within 10 minutes of winning, and with zero prompting from me, “obviii you’re safe this week ”.
I was also chatting with Danielle while HOH results were going up. She was clearly nervous because she was out of character, which she never does. She was telling me what a bitch Rachel was her to her earlier in the day (all while Rachel and I talked about what a bitch Danielle was earlier), blah blah blah. She was really nervous about going up, which I would LOVE to see, but I just spent some time trying to reassure her and make her feel confident in our alliance. I KNOW I’m going to play a role in Danielle’s eviction, but I need her to not see it coming.
Prenominations, my only other interesting chat was with Chima. She told me about how she got a little nervous when it close to the eviction, but she heard how Keesha and I were doing work to ensure her safety the night before voting (Keesha told her). She told me she has “a newfound respect for me now” and our conversation was as friendly and lively as ever, so at this point, I’m confident that she has no idea that I helped organize the KKK.
Nominations? Even though Jason is my ally, I was happy to see him up. I think Jason’s plan was to fly somewhat under the radar, stay on good terms with everyone, etc…. but now, being nominated in week 2 should light a fire underneath him. Going forward, I think this will make Jason a much more useful ally for me. I have no comment on Wil’s nomination, besides, #slacker and #useless.
By far the best part of this week though, has been the coming together of the guys’ alliance (a brolliance, if you will). James, Drew, Jason, and I have already discussed it amongst ourselves. They (especially Jason and Drew) were paranoid about a girl’s alliance, and even while I doubt its existence, I played into the paranoia. I know that Dom is down, so the only piece left to the brolliance is Joe. His using veto, already being aligned with Dom and I, and other general comments make me think he’d be down though. Since him and Dom have a better relationship, I want to talk to him about approaching Joe. The only thing sketching me out about this brolliance is James and Jason’s closeness. Jason being nominated was a real motivator for James to get on officially organizing this…#sketch.
Joe using the veto on Jason is sketchcity too. After winning, he told me he was most likely going to do, but I don’t quite understand why. Jason was in no danger of going home… This move definitely bumped Joe, and somewhat Jason, up on my radar. I assume (and am saying a silent prayer) that Danielle will go up. It would further splinter any possibilities of a girls’ alliance, as well as cause some drama.
Nothing else too major. At this point, I’m just maintaining social connections, while still keeping enough of my cards hidden.
